Inman Park
Historic Inman Park is located two miles east of downtown. One of Atlanta’s first planned communities and one of the nation’s first garden suburbs, it is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. Inman Park is often characterized as a “SmallTown DownTown,” combining the desirable elements of small town living with a dedication to the growth of the inner city-where charm of the past and excitement of tomorrow meet. Inman Park is home to many of Atlanta’s grandest historic homes and includes a variety of innovative modern designs, traditional bungalows, cottages and newer period-style homes. It includes several small business and retail districts, tree-lined sidewalks and gracious parks.
